What is keyword stuffing?
Keyword stuffing is the practice of unnaturally repeating a target keyword throughout a page's text, title, or meta tags far beyond what natural language requires. It's an outdated attempt to manipulate relevance signals, and it's explicitly flagged as spam in search engine quality guidelines today rather than a legitimate optimization tactic.

This kind of pattern is easily detected by both readers and search algorithms, and it hurts readability and rankings at the same time — the exact opposite of what it's meant to achieve.
Keyword stuffing can also show up inside body copy (the same phrase crammed into every sentence), in meta descriptions, in image alt text, or in hidden text styled to be invisible to visitors but readable by crawlers. All of these variants trigger the same spam signals.
