Refund Policy

1. Who this applies to

If you are a consumer (buying for personal use, not as a business) resident in the EU, sections 2–6 below reflect your statutory rights under the EU Consumer Rights Directive and cannot be reduced by these terms. If you are a business customer, that statutory right does not apply to you — see §7 for what we offer instead.

2. Your 14-day right of withdrawal (EU consumers)

Under EU law, you normally have 14 calendar days from the moment you purchase to cancel and get a full refund, without giving a reason. Because KinetixSEO delivers its service instantly (a report, or ongoing dashboard access), that right interacts with your purchase as follows:

2.1 Single-analysis or credit-package purchases

An individual analysis is "digital content" that gets fully delivered the moment it's generated. At checkout, we ask you to expressly confirm that you want us to start immediately, and that you understand you lose the withdrawal right for that specific report once it's generated (EU Consumer Rights Directive, art. 16(m)).

• Credits you've already used to generate a report: non-refundable once the report is delivered, because you consented to immediate performance.
• Credits you haven't used yet from the same purchase: fully refundable within 14 days of purchase, since performance hasn't begun on those.

2.2 Plan subscriptions

If you consent to immediate access and then withdraw within the 14-day window, we calculate what you owe using a declared split between the two things your plan price pays for: your monthly Kinetix Credits (80% of the price) and ongoing dashboard access (20%). You're refunded the credit portion pro-rata by credits left unused, plus the access portion pro-rata by days left in your billing period — the two always add back up to the exact price you paid (EU Consumer Rights Directive, art. 14(3)). The price this implies per credit is never higher than our cheapest public credit-pack rate, so this method never charges you more than buying the same credits outright. If you don't use the plan at all during those 14 days, you get a full refund on request.

3. If we didn't ask for your consent

The exceptions in §2 only apply if we collected your express consent and acknowledgment at checkout before starting the service. If that step was missing from your checkout, your full 14-day right of withdrawal applies regardless of usage, and you are not charged for any service already supplied during that window (art. 14(4)–(5)).

4. After the 14-day window

Once the 14-day withdrawal period has passed, purchases are final: unused credits remain in your balance for future use (they don't expire), but we don't refund cash for them, and subscription periods already billed and used are not refunded on cancellation.

5. Always refunded, regardless of the above

You're entitled to a refund or credit at any time, independent of the 14-day window, if:

• A technical failure on our side meant a paid report was never generated or a purchase never took effect;
• You were charged twice for the same purchase, or charged an incorrect amount;
• The purchase was made fraudulently on your account by someone else.

This reflects your right to a conforming digital service under the EU Digital Content Directive (2019/770) — it applies whether or not the withdrawal window has closed.

6. How to request a refund

Email billing@kinetixseo.com or use the contact form with your order reference. We confirm and process eligible refunds within 14 days, using the same payment method you paid with.

Cryptocurrency payments are irreversible on the underlying blockchain. If a refund is due for a crypto purchase, we send it as a bank transfer (or, if you prefer, a manual crypto payment) at the EUR value of the original charge — not as a network reversal.

7. Business customers

The statutory 14-day withdrawal right applies to consumers, not businesses. For business customers, unused credit or package purchases can still be refunded within 14 days of purchase at our discretion, and the always-refunded cases in §5 apply to everyone regardless of customer type.
