AI Website Readiness Checker
Is Your Website Ready for AI Search?
Paste a URL and get an SEO Health Score, a GEO Readiness Score for AI search, and a check of whether GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, and other named AI crawlers can actually reach your page.
What "AI-ready" actually means
Two things, both checked, both scored

Findings are ranked by impact vs. effort, each with a ready-to-use fix. See the full scoring methodology.
Technical access
Can AI crawlers even reach you?
A wildcard Disallow: / rule, a CDN/WAF rule silently blocking known bot user-agent strings, or a staging robots.txt that leaked to production — any of these blocks GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, and Google-Extended before an AI system ever gets the chance to cite a page. The check reads your robots.txt per named bot and flags what's blocked.
Content structure
Is there anything worth citing?
Access alone doesn't earn a citation. The GEO Readiness Score also looks at whether a page makes clear, quotable, answer-first statements — versus vague marketing copy an AI system has nothing concrete to extract — and whether structured data reinforces the same claims made in visible text.
FAQ
AI website readiness checker — FAQ
What does "AI-ready" actually mean for a website? +
Two things: technical accessibility (AI crawlers like GPTBot, PerplexityBot, and ClaudeBot can actually reach your pages — not blocked by robots.txt or a WAF rule) and content structure (clear, answer-first statements and structured data an AI system can extract and cite, rather than vague marketing copy it has nothing concrete to quote).
Is this the same as a regular SEO audit? +
It runs alongside your regular SEO Health Score, not instead of it — most of what makes a page AI-ready (crawlability, clean structure, real evidence) also helps classic rankings. The GEO Readiness Score adds AI-specific checks a traditional SEO audit doesn't cover: AI-bot access, structured-data completeness for citation, and evidence density.
Which AI engines does the readiness check cover? +
It checks crawler access for the major named AI bots (GPTBot, OAI-SearchBot, ClaudeBot, Claude-User, PerplexityBot, Google-Extended, and others) and scores content structure against the patterns known to help citation across ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity.
Will this guarantee my site gets cited by ChatGPT or Perplexity? +
No — no tool can guarantee that, and any tool claiming otherwise is overselling. AI citation is probabilistic: the same prompt can return different sources run to run. What readiness checks control is whether your site is even eligible to be cited at all — the crawlability and structure prerequisites — not the outcome of any single AI response.
Is the AI website readiness checker free? +
Yes — one free check per page, no signup, covering both the SEO Health Score and the GEO Readiness Score.
