What is AI visibility monitoring? +
KinetixSEO re-runs the real questions your buyers ask across ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Perplexity, then records what each engine actually answered: whether it named your brand, which page it cited, and which competitors it selected instead. Because the same prompts run on a schedule, you see movement rather than a single snapshot — when a competitor displaces you on a prompt, the change shows up against the previous run instead of passing unnoticed.
Is the free check the same as monitoring? +
No — they answer different questions. The free check analyses one page against 148 technical SEO checks and 39 AI-readiness checks: can an assistant reach your content, parse it, and quote it. Monitoring is the other half of the problem: it asks the engines real questions and records whether they select you. A page can pass every readiness check and still never be chosen, which is why the check on its own is not enough.
What does a Kinetix Credit cover? +
One credit buys one complete Page Fix: every finding on that page prioritised, with tailored replacement copy or code instead of a generic checklist, plus a verification re-scan that confirms the change went live and the finding actually cleared. Nothing is applied to your site automatically — you review the recommendations, apply them yourself, then run the verification. How long do you keep my free check result? +
You choose at submit time. Leave the retention box ticked and the result stays shareable for 90 days; untick it and it is pruned after 36 hours. Nothing else is required to run a check — no account, no card. The scan reads only what a search engine or AI crawler could already fetch from your public pages.
Does llms.txt improve my AI visibility? +
Not by itself. Perplexity, Claude and coding agents may fetch llms.txt, but Google Search officially ignores it and current evidence shows no measurable citation lift. KinetixSEO treats it as a useful discovery file, not a ranking lever — we will tell you when yours is missing or malformed, and we will not claim that adding one raises your selection rate.
